Sanam Teri Kasam beats K3G and Devdas in re-release earnings

Since last year, Indian theatres have witnessed a surge of re-released old films Sanam Teri Kasam, including Raj Kapoor’s classics and cult favorites that initially didn’t perform well. Among these, Tumbbad and Laila Majnu stand out as examples of successful re-releases in India, with Tumbbad earning ₹32 crore and Laila Majnu ₹12 crore in their second runs. These films even outperformed the re-releases of Shah Rukh Khan’s Devdas and Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. However, a small film with no stars has once again managed to surpass them all.
