Game Changer First Review: Ram Charan Shines, Kiara Advani Impresses in Shankar’s Direction

Ram Charan’s highly anticipated film, Game Changer, has hit theatres, and the first review is in. On Friday morning, trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan shared his thoughts on X (formerly Twitter), applauding Shankar’s direction. He described the film as a “career changer” and praised Ram Charan and Kiara Advani for their outstanding performances.

Shankar’s Triumphant Comeback

“Shankar makes a strong comeback with a remarkable film that combines captivating storytelling, exceptional performances, and outstanding technical aspects. He skillfully balances lighthearted moments with intense drama, keeping the audience thoroughly engaged,” he wrote.

“Ram Charan delivers a stellar performance, bringing depth and intensity to his character. S J Suryah was exceptional, while Kiara Advani and Anjali excelled in their roles. The songs and visuals were a visual delight on the big screen, and the background score added impact to key moments,” the trade analyst noted. He described Game Changer as a “powerful commercial entertainer.”

In Game Changer, Ram Charan takes on dual roles: a stern bureaucrat and a compassionate individual dedicated to improving society. Kiara Advani stars as the female lead, with a supporting cast that includes Anjali, SJ Suryah, Srikanth, Samuthirakani, Sunil, and Naveen Chandra. The film is helmed by director Shankar.

Earlier, Pushpa 2: The Rule director Sukumar shared his initial review of Game Changer during an event in Dallas. He revealed, “I watched Game Changer with Chiranjeevi sir, and here’s my first review: the first half is amazing, the interval is a blockbuster moment. Trust me, the flashback in the second half gave me goosebumps—it’s phenomenal. I was confident Charan deserved a National Award for Rangasthalam, and many agreed. Watching his emotional performance in the climax of this film, I felt the same way again. He was outstanding and will surely win a National Award for this role.”
