Family Man 3 actor Rohit Basfore found dead near Guwahati waterfall, went for picnic with friends: Report

Rohit Basfore, an actor featured in the upcoming series Family Man 3, tragically passed away after falling into a waterfall during a picnic with nine colleagues. According to a report by Guwahati Plus, his body was discovered near the Garbhanga Waterfalls on the afternoon of Sunday, April 27.

Rohit went for a picnic with nine of his colleagues when he reportedly fell into the waterfall. Rani Police Outpost officials said the incident took place around 2 pm.A police official, talking to GPlus, said, “We received the report around 4 PM and reached the spot by 4.30 pm. The SDRF team later recovered the body around 6.30 pm.” Earlier this year, he posted pictures with his colleagues from the sets of the upcoming show. He captioned the post, “On the sets of Family Man 3. It was a great experience and I always loved to learn new things.”

Initial Probe Suggests Accidental Fall; No Foul Play Suspected, Further Investigation Ongoing

According to initial investigations, Rohit Basfore “accidentally fell into the waterfall” while on a picnic with his colleagues. Authorities currently do not suspect any foul play in connection with the incident. The police have sent his body for a post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause of death. Officials have confirmed that a more detailed investigation is ongoing to gather further clarity about the circumstances surrounding the tragedy. Rohit had been active on social media, particularly Instagram, where he frequently shared glimpses of his work and life. Since last year, he had posted several behind-the-scenes photos from the sets of the highly anticipated series Family Man 3.
