Emraan Hashmi opened up about his experiences with profiling during his solo travels in the early 2000s. He recalled the nervous feeling of walking through the green channel, even when he had nothing to declare, comparing it to the anxiety of spotting a traffic cop while driving within the speed limit. He admitted that customs officials often stopped him for random checks, likely due to his appearance, especially his earrings, which might have triggered stereotypes. Emraan shared that while he was frequently singled out back then, his travel experience has changed significantly now. Traveling with his family has made things smoother, and he no longer faces the same level of suspicion he did as a young solo traveler.
