Tishaa Kumar, daughter of T-Series co-owner Krishan Kumar, has passed away after a prolonged battle with cancer. Her funeral is taking place in Mumbai, where Bollywood celebrities have come to pay their respects. Riteish Deshmukh, Saiee Manjrekar, Salman Khan’s bodyguard Shera, and others braved waterlogged streets to attend the crematorium.

Celebrities Pay Respects at Tishaa Kumar’s Funeral
In addition to Riteish Deshmukh and Saiee Manjrekar, Bhushan Kumar, Divya Khosla Kumar, and Kushalli Kumar were present at Tishaa Kumar’s funeral. Sajid Khan, Farah Khan, and Javed Jaffery also attended to offer their condolences. T-Series had earlier issued a statement about the 20-year-old’s passing, which read: “Tishaa Kumar, daughter of Krishan Kumar, passed away yesterday after a prolonged illness. This is a challenging time for the family, and we kindly request that their privacy be respected.”

Tishaa Kumar’s Final Public Appearance and Passing
According to a report by The Indian Express, Tishaa Kumar, who was diagnosed with cancer, was taken to Germany for treatment but sadly passed away there on Thursday. The family is experiencing a very difficult time. One of Tishaa’s final public appearances was in November 2023, at the screening of Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s film Animal, which featured Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Triptti Dimri, Anil Kapoor, and Bobby Deol. The film, produced by T-Series, saw her posing on the red carpet with her father, Krishan Kumar.

Krishan Kumar: Actor, Producer, and T-Series Co-Owner
Krishan Kumar, known for his role in the 1995 film Bewafa Sanam, is also a co-owner of T-Series with his nephew Bhushan Kumar. His debut film was Lucky: No Time for Love, starring Salman Khan and Sneha Ullal. Together, they have produced numerous successful films such as Ready, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, Thappad, and Animal. The younger brother of T-Series founder Gulshan Kumar, Krishan took over the management of T-Series following Gulshan’s death in 1997, overseeing the company until Bhushan was old enough to assume control.
