Allu Arjun voiced his support for Samantha Ruth Prabhu after Konda Surekha made alarming accusations about her divorce, alleging that KTR was responsible for the split between Samantha and Naga Chaitanya. Both Samantha and Chaitanya have rejected these claims. In his statement, Allu Arjun backed Samantha and used the hashtag, “Film Industry Will Not Tolerate.
“I firmly condemn the unfounded derogatory remarks directed at film personalities and their families. This behavior is disrespectful and contrary to our Telugu values. Such irresponsibility should not be normalized. I call on those involved to act responsibly and respect individual privacy, particularly concerning women. We must foster respect and dignity in our society,” he stated.

For those unaware, Konda Surekha alleged that BRS president KT Rama Rao was behind the divorce of Naga Chaitanya and Samantha, igniting significant controversy. She claimed that KTR’s supposed interference created issues within the Akkineni family, ultimately resulting in the high-profile split.
Allegations of KTR’s Interference in Divorce
Surekha alleged that KT Rama Rao insisted Samantha be sent to him in exchange for not demolishing Nagarjuna Akkineni’s N-Convention Centre. She claimed that when Samantha refused, it resulted in her separation from Naga Chaitanya. “KTR asked for Samantha in return for sparing the N-Convention Centre. Nagarjuna pressured her to go to KTR, but she declined. This ultimately led to the divorce,” Surekha was quoted as saying by Deccan Herald.
Samantha responded to the claim with an Instagram statement, saying, “Konda Surekha Garu, I take pride in what this journey has made me—please don’t belittle it. I hope you understand that your words hold considerable weight as a minister. I urge you to be responsible and respect individuals’ privacy.”
Naga Chaitanya also responded to the allegations, calling them “ridiculous” and clarifying the situation.
Meanwhile, Konda Surekha withdrew her statements after KTR issued her a legal notice, threatening a defamation case.
