Trump Thanks Xi After TikTok US Deal, Signals China Visit and Future Meetings

Donald Trump thanked Chinese President Xi Jinping after TikTok agreed to shift parts of its operations to new partners.

On Truth Social, He said the deal had “saved TikTok” that the platform would remain an important voice under American investors.

Trump said TikTok helped him win youth support in 2024 and thanked JD Vance and his team for the deal.

Thanked President Xi for approving the deal, saying the Chinese leader’s cooperation was appreciated.

Trump said he may visit China in 2026, while officials said he and Xi could meet up to four times this year.
