Woman Electrocuted While Unplugging Phone in Uttar Pradesh

In a tragic incident in Sarangpur village, Uttar Pradesh, 22-year-old Woman ‘Neetu’ lost her life due to an electric shock while unplugging her mobile phone from its charger. Witnesses reported hearing a noise and found her stuck to the phone. Using a stick, they separated her from the charger and rushed her to the Primary Health Centre in Bansdih, where she was pronounced dead. According to Sanjay Singh, Station House Officer of Bansdih police station, Neetu was brought to the hospital without signs of life. Her family has not filed any formal complaint.

Woman Killed by Paddy Harvester in Ballia

In another tragic event in Uttar Pradesh, 50-year-old Bindu Devi from Hathaudi village was fatally struck by a paddy harvester machine in Sikariya Khurd village. The accident occurred while she was working in her field on Saturday evening. Bindu succumbed to her injuries en route to the hospital. Based on a complaint filed by her husband, Radha Kishun Ram, a case has been registered against the unknown driver of the harvester. Moolchand Chaurasia, the in-charge of Gadwar police station, confirmed that the body had been sent for a post-mortem examination.

Telangana Man Electrocuted While Charging Phone

Earlier this year, 23-year-old Maloth Anil from Telangana died after being electrocuted in his sleep. He had placed a live wire near his bed to charge his mobile phone. While sleeping, Anil accidentally came into contact with the wire and received a severe electric shock. He was rushed to a private hospital and later transferred to a government facility, where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment.

Rising Concerns Over Phone Charging Hazards

These incidents highlight the dangers associated with improper use of charging equipment and electrical appliances. Experts advise against handling chargers with wet hands, placing live wires in unsafe locations, or using unregulated power connections. Public awareness campaigns may help prevent such avoidable tragedies in the future.
