Drain Excavation Triggers Wall Collapse

The local administration, police, National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), and State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) quickly launched a rescue operation. Teams used heavy equipment and manual efforts to remove the debris and locate survivors. Officials shifted the injured workers to nearby hospitals for medical treatment. Jaipur Collector Sandesh Nayak confirmed that three workers lost their lives in the accident.

According to officials and eyewitnesses, workers were digging a drain near the construction site when the wall suddenly gave way. The excavation work reportedly weakened the surrounding ground, causing the structure to collapse. Witnesses claimed that more than a dozen labourers might have been working close to the wall at the time. Rescue teams continue searching the site as they fear more people remain trapped.

Rescue Teams Race Against Time

Initial reports suggest that many of the workers involved in the incident belonged to Bihar and Jharkhand. Authorities believe the death toll could have been much higher because the collapse happened around lunchtime, when several labourers had temporarily left the work area. Officials continue to verify the identities of the victims and assess the full extent of the damage.

The police have launched an investigation to determine the exact cause of the collapse and to check whether any safety regulations were violated at the construction site. Authorities have assured that they will take appropriate action if they find negligence. Rescue operations remain in progress as emergency teams work to save anyone still trapped under the rubble.
