Delhi Coaching Center Survivor Feels Guilty for Classmates
Rishabh Pal, a 21-year-old who survived the Saturday tragedy at a Delhi coaching center, expresses lasting guilt for not being able to rescue his fellow students, including Tanya Soni, who had encouraged him to hold on hope when he feared their situation was dire.

Ghaziabad Student Trapped in Coaching Flood
Rishabh, a Ghaziabad resident, was one of 25-30 students trapped in the basement of the Delhi coaching center on the evening of July 27. Tanya, Shreya Yadav, and Nevin Dalvin lost their lives due to flooding caused by heavy rain.

Survivor Describes Trapped Students During Flood
“We were in the library when the water started entering the building. About 10 to 12 students, who were near the gate, managed to rush out but about 10-15 of us got trapped due to the heavy flow of the water on the stairs,” Rishabh, a civil services aspirant from batch M33 at Rau’s IAS Study Circle that started in June.
