In a terrible event, a three-year-old child choked to death in a locked car while her parents went to a wedding, leaving her in the parked vehicle for more than two hours. The terrible occurrence occurred on Wednesday evening, when Pradeep Nagar, a Keta resident, travelled to Jorawarpur village with his wife and two kids to attend a relative’s wedding.

Parents’ Miscommunication Results in an Incident
When they arrived at the site, his wife exited the car with their oldest daughter and went inside, while Pradeep parked the car, Khatoli Police Station SHO Banna Lal said Thursday.

Assuming that both of his girls had accompanied their mother, he locked the car and attended the function. Both parents continued to participate in numerous ceremonies in separate groups, each supposing that their younger daughter Gorvika was accompanying them.

Rushed to Hospital Where She is Pronounced Dead
After around two hours, the couple noticed Gorvika was missing and began frantically seeking her. They eventually discovered her unresponsive in the car and took her to the hospital, where a doctor confirmed her dead upon arrival, according to the SHO.
