Delhi Weather: IMD forecasts thunderstorms with rain on February 27; minimum temperature around 18°C.
Delhi recorded a temperature of 21.2 degree Celsius around 9am on Thursday. The maximum temperature for the day is likely to settle at 26 degree Celsius.

The capital’s air quality continued to be in the ‘poor’ category, with an AQI of 260, as per the Sameer app.
Western Disturbance to Bring Rainfall Across North India
An approaching Western Disturbance is expected to bring rainfall to North India. This system will also bring rain to Delhi’s neighboring states—Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Haryana—between February 27 and March 1.

Minimal Temperature Changes Expected Across India, Except Northwest
The weather department predicts no significant change in minimum temperatures across India, except in the Northwest, over the next four to five days.
In Delhi, wind speed is expected to gradually increase after the morning hours.
On Wednesday, the capital recorded its highest temperature of the season at 32°C, six degrees above the seasonal average, according to the IMD.

February 2025 matched the highest recorded temperature of 32°C from February 27, 2023. Last year, the maximum temperature in February was slightly lower at 29.7°C.
The Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) reported Delhi’s air quality index at 247 on Wednesday, keeping it in the ‘poor’ category.
AQI Scale and Friday’s Weather Forecast for Delhi
The AQI scale classifies air quality as follows: 0-50 (‘good’), 51-100 (‘satisfactory’), 101-200 (‘moderate’), 201-300 (‘poor’), 301-400 (‘very poor’), and 401-500 (‘severe’).
For Friday, the IMD forecasts thunderstorms with rain in Delhi, along with a slight dip of one degree Celsius in the minimum temperature.
